Crash Kravitz

I’ve never been  particularly a big fan of Lenny Kravitz.  He’s put out some great tunes but nothing that really “grabbed” me.  After seeing this I might have to revisit that opinion, or, I have to at least admit that he seems like one helluva cool guy.

This is just plain awesome. How much are you loving it if you’re in that school choir?? I’m pretty sure this is the stuff dreams are made of!  BTW, that guitar player is pretty damned talented in his own right! Shred man!!

Horns at half-mast today as metalheads everywhere mourn the death of a legend. We’ll miss you Ronnie! R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Arguably the man has defined what will be considered “metal” for generations to come. \m/

Ratt n’ Roll returns to the Sunset Strip

Ratt recently made a triumphant return to the Sunset Strip to celebrate the release of their newest album. 25 years after starting out in the same place the boy from Ratt are back in a BIG way. Their new album Infestation hit stores on April 20th and brings back the glory of sleaze without being so stuck in the old sound that it comes off as dated. They’ve released a NEW rock record both worthy of the Ratt legacy and as a way to, LOUDLY, introduce themselves to a whole new audience in 2010.

Below is the footage from episode of 1 of the CD release party (h/t Roadrunner Records):

Go here to get your copy of Infestation. Trust me, it RAWKS!

Faith No More in San Fran

Faith No More has been spotted in America!! So far the “Second Coming” tour only has a select few dates on both coasts. I’m hoping for a full blown American tour around 2011. I’ll be honest, if they come anywhere NEAR Georgia I might have to make a road trip. Srsly. I never had a chance to see them before they broke up back in the 90′s. Now that they’re back together (minus Jim Martin *sigh*) I fully intend on making good on seeing my favorite band of.all.time! live.

Here’s some footage of the opening song from their recent San Fran show:

Yes, in fact, I did totally geek out even watching this footage. I was losing my mind in my office.

Kat pwnz my blog!

So, apparently Kat Von D came across the post I did about her interview on Sixx Sense and tweeted the following:

Saw this blog and thought it was sooo sweet! – http://tinyurl.com/y85lqfb

Srsly, how awesome is that? Thanks to Kat’s tweet blog traffic for that post BLEW.UP. My usual readership amounts mostly to George, The Wifs and maybe a few random hits from my Twitter feed or Facebook. Today the traffic has been so high that it basically flatlines my usual traffic spikes.

Suddenly I feel like the cool kid at school.

So to all the folks that are here from Kat’s tweet, what’s up? Thanks for stopping by! If your interested please stick around and check the place out. You can find all sorts of stuff about my love/hate relationship with BMX, my not-so-secret desire to grow up and be a rockstar, my hopeless love of all things 80′s and my journey into and thru the Christian wilderness as I try to navigate from darkness into the light.
